Our People
Excel Events is a family business owned and managed by Col and Jeannette Cuthbert. Jeannette has an extensive event management background and has a strong affinity with, and understands the nuances of the event industry. Col comes from an engineering background and managed a successful manufacturing business for some 23 years. Col brings this extensive experience in quality manufacturing to Excel to ensure that all of our marquee structures are of the highest quality and engineered to specific certification requirements.
Col and Jeannette have instilled the importance of customer service, professionalism and provision of high quality equipment within the culture of Excel Events and I am sure those of you who have used our services will attest to this.
The Excel Team has many years of accumulated experience in the event equipment hire industry. Our team has the skills and capacity to provide equipment to events as small as an intimate dinner party for ten guests to festivals for thousands of patrons.
Our Service
As an Excel client you will be allocated a project manager for your function who is contactable prior to and throughout to provide one-on-one personalized advice and service. Your project manager is backed up by an efficient and qualified site team to ensure that the delivery, installation and clean up of your event is hassle free.
Our site teams are trained in all aspects of workplace health and safety and will handle all the various administrative procedures (certification, site inductions, CAD site plans, work method statements etc) in a manner you will not even notice.
Excel Events has continued to upgrade its extensive hire equipment stock so you can be assured of the latest items to impress your most discerning clients.
Our extensive range of marquee enables us to provide unique options and variations to your event. Silk linings, clear walls and roofs, mood lighting, professional flooring and staging and a host of furniture solutions are available to provide you with the perfect setting every time.
